Introdução
If your Hoover Air Lite Upright Vacuum Cleaner (Model UH72460) has stopped picking up debris, is making a burning smell, or the brush roll has stopped spinning, this guide will help you replace the brush-roll drive belt. Many users assume their Air Lite is broken beyond repair, but in most cases, a worn or broken belt or a clogged brush roll causes the vacuum to lose suction or stop agitating carpet. This repair does not require any special skills, only basic hand tools, but you should always unplug the vacuum before opening the brush-roll compartment. The Air Lite does not contain a user-serviceable battery, and there are no capacitors in this section of the machine, so the risk is minimal. However, be cautious of sharp debris lodged around the brush roll and properly dispose of any broken belt pieces.
