Use the point of a spudger to push on alternating sides of the fan connector to "walk" it out of its socket.

Place the cable off to the side so that it is out of the way.

Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove the two 7.0 mm screws on the top left and top right corners of the cooling fan.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.
