Connect bottom hose to pump hose without locking it in all the way. Pulling hard you will pull the top portion of the hose through and feed it all the way over to the right locked in place

what this doesn't imply about the "pulling hard" is they mean with the strength of an Olympian God or perhaps The Incredible Hulk. a brand new hose either seems to be about 3/4 of an inch too short, or not pliable enough, or both to effectively either wrap around both ends of the pulley and still be able to pull through, or to pull through and then be able to wrap around both ends of pulley. also, hope ya got both the small lithe hands and fingers, and the immense superhuman strength needed to complete this job in this manner. there simply has to be a better way to do this

There is a better way, for a new hose, be sure your motor/pump assy is pushed forward. The rollers should be pretty close to the curved part of the frame. There's a hole in the back panel where you can insert a screwdriver and make contact with the motor/pump. And with a few taps of a hammer, your new hose will reach without issue. With the top hose attached make sure to feed around both ends of the pully and pull bottom hose through and push all the way to the right

from what I can see this is not a replacement tutorial this is a tutorial on how to put the hose back into alignment on the pulley

A kink in a new hose while installing will happen. this DOES NOT MATTER as the 2 pegs rotating create positive and negative pressures as it rotates. a single kink will be unkinked during use due to rotation, that acts like a pump.
