Slide the flat end of the Framework Screwdriver under the Mid Plate Cable, near the ZIF connector, to separate the adhesive.

Use the flat end of the Framework Screwdriver, or a clean fingernail, to lift up the locking tab on the Mid Plate Cable ZIF connector.

Use your fingers to grip the black pull tab and slide the Mid Plate Cable straight out of its socket.
