This guide is useful for anyone who has broken the subwoofer on their Fisher Rock’n Beats FBX 490. Make sure the speaker is off before starting the guide. There are many fragile parts so use caution when prying or removing wires.

    • Remove the four screws from the outer cage of the speaker using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

    • Remove the four screws from the outer edge of the speaker using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

    • Remove the four screws from the top panel of the controls using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

    • Using a prying tool, gently remove the subwoofer from its hole.
