Introdução
If your Latitude 3420 is running hot, making loud sounds, or shutting down from overheating, the internal fan might need to be replaced. The fan keeps your laptop cool by moving heat away from the processor. A failing fan can damage other parts if left unfixed. This repair requires opening the laptop, disconnecting the fan cable, removing the fan assembly, and installing a new cooling unit. Once it is secured and plugged back in, reassemble the laptop.
