• Power Down & Unplug
  • Turn off the laptop completely.
  • Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery if it’s detachable.
• Prepare Your Workspace
  • Place the laptop on a clean, flat surface.
  • Have a small Phillips screwdriver and a plastic prying tool ready.
• Remove the Back Cover
  • Unscrew the screws securing the bottom panel.
  • Carefully lift the panel off to expose the internal components.
• Disconnect the Keyboard
  • Locate the keyboard connector ribbon.
  • Unlock the latch holding the ribbon in place and gently pull it out.
• Lift Out the Keyboard
  • Turn the laptop over and open the lid.
  • Use the prying tool to carefully lift the keyboard from the top edge.
  • Remove it completely once it’s free.
• Install the New Keyboard
  • Position the replacement keyboard in place.
  • Reconnect the ribbon cable securely.
  • Snap the keyboard back into its slot.
• Reassemble the Laptop
  • Close the lid, flip the laptop, and reattach the bottom cover.
  • Screw everything back tightly.
  • Reinsert the battery and plug in the power adapter.
• Test the Keyboard
  • Power on the laptop.
