This is a guide to taking apart the Dash DSY007SS Yogurt Maker. The steps provided will help an individual access the main heating component of the yogurt maker. This repair may be needed if the yogurt maker no longer heats up as intended. Having access to the circuit board will allow the user to identify the issue.

    • Remove the lid of the yogurt maker.

    • Flip the yogurt maker over so the bottom is facing upward.

    • Remove four 3.5mm screws from the bottom using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

    • Separate the two halves of the yogurt maker.

    • The power cord and the heating wire are still connected. This means that the yogurt maker will not be completely separate. However, the two pieces can be laid down to expose the internal wiring.

    • Remove four screws holding the power cable in place using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

    • Remove the plastic that is holding the cord down.

    • Gently pull up on the circuit board and wiggle it side to side to release it from the two retaining tabs.

    • You now have access to the main circuit board that allows transfer between the power supply and heat of the appliance.
