Introdução

This guide will show you how to easily replace loose or damaged ear cushions on the Cowin E7 headphones. When the cushions are loose or damaged, they will cause problems with sound quality and the noise canceling function.

  1. GQ1a6eOe4ROAeM6b
    • Inspect the seal around the edge of each ear cushion for damage or instability.

    • Make note of which ear cushion needs to be replaced.

  2. MYmBUgLedF3ZZhdZ
    • Firmly grasp the ear cushion on one side and pull up.

    • The ear cushion is only attached by a few spots of glue, so it should not take much force to remove.

  3. nv1vbbZY6eWaFXkR
    • Spread multipurpose glue around the edge of the seal.

    • Keep in mind that the more glue you use, the harder it will be to remove the ear cushions again.

    • Place the replacement ear cushions where the damaged cushions were.

    • Hold for at least thirty seconds to ensure the glue has time to dry and seal the new cushions to the headphones.

    Thank you.

These instructions were simple, bulleted and straight to the key points.

    Well done, Mr. Burrer.

    Thank you so much!

I couldn't find this brand and model on the site I bought them from, which has a lot of instructional videos for other brands. I also checked the maker's website - no videos or online manuals. I don't think the manual, which I've misplaced, would tell me how to replace the pads anyway; the makers normally want to replace the whole item or fix it for you.

I'm so happy I found this video! I don't like to take a chance on wrecking something so valuable to me by trying to figure it out as I go.

I have COWIN E7 headphones. The thin outer layer over the cushions - possibly rubber made to look like leather but really stretchy - decided to start peeling off like crazy. The replacement pads I got from Geekria were perfect. The only difference from your video is that mine came with a tool to help peel off the earpads and scrape off the old glue, and a soft cloth to rub off the glue residue.

I'm so thankful for your video!!! :D

Cowin describes the thin outer layer over the cushions as "protein leather," whatever that is.
