Barreto Trencher E718MTH4S 2016 Lift Lever Replacement

Lift Lever is located on right side of machine.

Place lift lever in second notch.

There are three bolts securing lift lever. Only 2 need to be removed at this step.

Remove bolts that are indicated with blue arrow. Top one is lift linkage bolt and the lower frame bolt.

The other lift link bolt will be removed on the work bench.

Loosen with 3/4" socket with extension. Bolt, washer, and bushing.

Rubber bushing is located on backside

Remove lower frame bolt using 3/4" socket with extension.

Remove bolt, washer, spacer and rubber spacer guide.

Remove lift lever from machine.

With lift linkage on work bench use 3/4" socket and 3/4" box wrench to remove bolt, washer, bushing and nut. Remove linkage from lift lever.

Reverse operation to reinstall

After lever linkage has been reattached place lever back in second slot for reinstall.

Start upper lever linkage bolt first and tighten.

You can now pull out lever to center it on the lower lever frame bolt so you can get threads started

Tight all bolt using 3/4" socket.
