Using a 1/4in drive 10 mm socket and wrench, unscrew the 10 mm hex nut in a clockwise motion.

Perform the same clockwise turn with the socket wrench on the right-side 10 mm nut, as seen in the previous step.

Once loose, gently pull down on the kickpanel lip just under the glovebox.

On the left side of the kickpanel is a cigarette lighter. Gently pull the plug out.

Pull the kickpanel outward as two hooks hold it up.

To completely free it, disconnect the wire powering the kickpanel light.

Use a T20 Torx screwdriver to remove the first screw holding the air filter housing in place.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
