Pull the hood release lever inside the car, then go to the front and lift the hood using the latch. prop open.

Find the black plastic air filter box near the top of the engine bay. It's usually rectangular and has metal clips on the side.

Unclip all three metal fasteners holding the lid in place. You don't need any tools, just use your fingers! Lift the lid of the air filter box and set it aside carefully.

Place the new air filter into the box. Make sure it's snug and facing the same direction as the old one.
