Introdução
If your Third Generation (1997 – 2011) Ford Ranger's window crank is slipping, turning with difficulty, or no longer rolls the window up and down, this guide will walk you through replacing the window crank handle.
The window crank transfers your motion from the handle to the window regulator, which moves the window up or down. When the window crank handle becomes stripped, loose, or worn out, it can cause skipped movement, stiffness, or complete failure of window operation.
Be sure to inspect the window crank area for debris or obstructions that could interfere with movement. Sometimes, debris buildup can cause poor operation.
Before starting, ensure the window of the side you are working on is fully closed.
You can do step 1 either first or after step 3.
