Background

The Ring Floodlight Cam is part of a series of security cameras made for personal and home security purposes, this model is part of the Plus Wired series released in 2021. The Ring security camera is manufactured by Ring and the first model was announced at CES 2017.

The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus is a 1080p, hardwired outdoor security camera specialized in driveway and backyard monitoring, featuring motion sensors, 2 000 lumen LED lights and a 105 decibel security siren. It provides color night vision, two-way talk, and customizable motion zones through the Ring app.

Identification

The Ring Floodlight Cam can be distinguished from other Ring security cameras by its larger size (11.7 × 7.03 × 9.67 in (L×W×H)) while featuring a 4.7-inch diameter base used for mounting. It also features 2 large adjustable LED light panels with a lowered camera being placed between them labeled “Ring” at the top of the device.
