Nikon Labophot

Optical System: Nikon CF (Chrome-Free) optics, designed to eliminate chromatic aberration across the entire field of view without needing corrective lenses in the eyepieces.

Light Source:

Labophot-1: 6-volt, 20-watt halogen Köhler illumination.

Labophot-2: Upgraded 6-volt, 30-watt halogen system for brighter imaging

Condenser: Typically includes an Abbe condenser (N.A. 1.25) with an iris diaphragm; specialized options like phase turret or swing-out condensers for low-power (2x) objectives are common.

Eyepieces: Usually paired with CFW 10x eyepieces (20mm field of view).

Objectives: Standard setups often feature Plan Achromat 4x, 10x, 40x (spring-loaded), and 100x (oil immersion) lenses.

Head Options: Available in Binocular or Trinocular
