Brother PT-1010

Released in July 2004, the Brother PT-1010 label maker is a portable, handheld labeling system that is great for home, office, or school use. Its unique laminated tape technology ensures protection of your text and resistance from abrasion, chemicals, water, and fading. With a large 12-character LCD, the PT-1010, it is easy to view the text that you enter. It allows various TZ tapes up to 12mm wide, for indoor/outdoor tape. With six frame options, six built-in auto formats, and up to 83 symbols, the PT-1010 allows maximized options for personal preference.

The Brother PT-1010 label maker is 8 x 4.3 x 2.2 inches and has a silver and blue plastic casing. It has 51 keys (numbers and letters). The power button is red and located towards the top left, just beneath the LCD. Function, Time/Date, and directional buttons are to the right of the power button, and the Print button is to the right of that.

You can identify your label printer by the Brother logo printed just above the LCD screen and P-touch just below. On the back casing, there is a label with the function menu towards the top and the model information in embossed below that. The web address, www.p-touch.com, is etched on the center of the back case.
