Background Information

The Black Series Jecklin Float Version 1 is a Swiss-made open-back set of headphones first introduced in the 1980s, and is a continuation of the origonal 1970 Jecklin Float headphones designed by Jürg Jecklin.

The Black Series Jecklin Float headphones use a black plastic headband instead of the origonal Plexiglas brackets. The newer headphones also use large planar electrostatic drivers held by the unique helmet-shaped bracket with foam strips and circular cutouts on top and sides. Creating a very low pressure fit, which allows the audio drivers to float in front of the ears.
